Common questions

The more you send, the tighter the quote. Useful things: the project scope or room list, current architectural backgrounds, your approved AV design or equipment list, which sheets you need, and the date the drawings are due. If you only have a sketch or a marked-up plan, send that - it is enough to start.

No. We regularly work from concept markups, an equipment list or a rough room-by-room brief. What we do not do is make unapproved design decisions - where something is undefined we flag it and ask rather than guessing.

DWG is ideal for backgrounds. PDF, RVT, XLSX and images all work too, and photographs of hand markups are fine. If you have a CAD template, title block or symbol library, send those as well so the AV drawings come back in your format.

Yes. Send your NDA with the enquiry and we will sign it before anything is shared. If you would rather use ours, we can provide one. Client drawings and project data are treated as confidential either way.

Whatever suits you - email for small files, or Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer and SharePoint for full sets. If you run a project portal or an FTP, we can work inside it.

We book the work into the schedule and confirm the issue date. You get the first set for review, we incorporate your markups, then issue final DWG and PDF. Every sheet goes through a standards check against your title block and conventions before it reaches you.

Often, yes - tell us the deadline in your first message. Short-notice work depends on current capacity, and we will say straight away whether the date is achievable rather than accepting and missing it.
